Speaking during the inauguration, the Ogu/Bolo CTC chairman, Alabo Rev. Francis Ada Ebenezeer Onye thanked the Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike for giving them the opportunity to serve and that they would live up to expectation as the entire people of Ogu/Bolo LGA are happy with their appointment.
The Ogu/Bolo CTC boss said they would emulate Wike by working hand in glove with security personnel to ensure that existing peace in the area is maintained.
He urged indigenes and residents to keep the local government clean as offenders would be made to face the wrath of the law, just as he assured prompt payment of workers salary.
Onye warned against the vandalisation of electric power installations in the area as a Joint Taskforce had been directed to bring culprits to justice.
He announced the dissolution of all functional committees and sued for support and cooperation in the interest of the area.
In his remarks, the PDP Chairman in the area, Hon. Arnold Davids enjoined all party faithful to remain focused, urging the new CTC members to create positive impact rather than see their appointment as an avenue to make money.
Responding on behalf of the CTC members, Mr. Godson Tende expressed appreciation over their appointment and pledged their unalloyed loyalty to the chairman.
The State Financial Secretary of PDP, Hon. Tonye Aberenika, former Managing Director of Oil and Gas Free Zone, Sir Victor Alabo, chiefs and other party faithful witnessed the ceremony.
