LG Boss Hails Wike On Appointment

The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Fancis Ada Ebenezer has commended the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike for giving him the opportunity to serve the people of the area.
Ebenezer made the commendation during a special thanksgiving service held in his hounour at the Power of God Ministry Worship Centre in Port Harcourt last Sunday.
The Ogu/Bolo Council boss, who described Wike as a workaholic said his antecedents speak volumes as a leader capable of galvanising the people of the state to greater heights.
He said despite political affiliations, inputs of every citizen of the state were very important to ensure the growth and development of the state and especially thanked Senator George Thompson Sekibo, the Chief Whip of the State House of Assembly; Rt. Hon. Evans Bapakaye Bipi, the Commissioner for Sports; Hon.Boma Iyaye, Hon. Vincent Nimieboka, the former Managing Director of Oil and Gas Free Zone; Sir Victor Alabo and Rev. Christian Itamunoala, for all their efforts in the making of his new assignment.
Ebenezer assured the people of good support and cooperation.
Earlier at the church service, the Senior Pastor of Power of God Ministry, Pastor King David Ebenezer stressed the need for thanksgiving, which, he said, is a sacrificial praise and also enjoined leaders to know that it is a God given privilege for them to be in such positions and not their right.
In his sermon titled: Sacrificial Praise and Thankgiving, he admonished all, on the need to love God and one another and thanked everyone for coming to rejoice and praise God with Ebenezer’s family over the appointment.
Dignitaries from all walks of life graced the occasion including Rev. Godstime Orabere, Hon. Deima Iyalla, the Amanyanabo of Bolo Kingdom, His Royal Highness, King Frank Micah Acheseinimie Bolo Luka VIII, and former Managing Director of Oil and Gas Free Zone, Sir, Victor Alabo among others.
