The Project Coordinator of the Rivers edition of Niger Delta Icons, Mr Frank Nna-Jack, who made this known, last Wednesday, said Niger Delta Icons promises to be the most comprehensive and authentic register of the best and brightest in all fields of human endeavours.
Nna-Jack, who is also the publisher of The Reformer Newspaper, said the chosen professionals have all been communicated.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Editorial Board of the NDI, Chief Soye Wilson Jamabo, has said that of the 500 Icons shortlisted, 317 have so far responded with updated profiles.
Jamabo explained that the others complained of late receipt of letters, and pleaded for time on account of which, he said, the final date for the submission of profiles has been extended to April 15, this year, in order to meet already set publication targets.
The Editorial Board chairman advised Icons already contacted to take advantage of the new date and respond accordingly.
