CTC Boss Tasks Chiefs On Govt Facilities

The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Alabo Francis Ada Ebenezer has charged chiefs in the area to protect government property in their communities.
Alabo Ebenezer gave the charge when executives of Ogu/Bolo Local Government Council of Chiefs paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Ogu.
The council boss said as custodians of the people, the amenities were provided for their comfort and to make life easy for them, stressing that anybody caught vandalizing or stealing government property would have themselves to blame.
Alabo Ebenezer thanked the Chairman, Chief Nyengimiesi Igbikiowubo Ayomadike and his executives for taking time to thank the Governor of Rivers State, Chief Nyesom Wike for appointing one of their own as CTC Chairman, promising that they will not fail the Governor and the people for their trust and confidence on them, ensuring that they would do their best judiciously within the limited resources available.
The CTC Chairman further said those who vandalized the electricity cables, poles and transformers in Ogu should hide their faces in shame as their plans to impoverish the community and bring down the government will not succeed and assured the people of Ogu community that electricity will be restored before the Easter celebration as work was in progress.
Alabo Ebenezer appealed to the Chiefs Council for advice, reiterating that his office doors were open for everyone and that with all hands on deck the Local Government will be better.
Earlier, the chairman, Ogu/Bolo Local Government Council of Chiefs, Chief Nyengimiesi Igbikiowubo Ayomadiki thanked God for the appointment and also expressed gratitude to Governor Nyesom Wike for appointing a gentle and generous chief as council chairman, saying everybody is happy with the appointment.
Chief Ayomadiki expressed confidence that the council chairman would bring his wealth of experience to bear assured him of their support to move the Local Government forward.
