Charly Boy Slams FG …Over Proposed Talks With Boko Haram
Maverick entertainer and social activist, Charles Oputae popularly known as Charly boy, on Monday reacted to a statement credited to the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed that the Federal Government had been in a long cease-fire talk with the Boko Haram insurgents. The minister had stated this while addressing reporters in Lagos.
Reacting to the statement, the ‘Area Fada’ and founder of ‘Our Muman Don Do’ movement condemned the statement and stressed that terrorism will remain in the country for a very long time as it has become a big business in Nigeria.
Charly boy while sharing a photo of Lai Mohammed on instagram wrote: “If the minister of ‘misinformation’ Lai Mohammed na your papa brother or friend help me tell am to go res for him village. How can government be negotiating with Boko Haram he claimed were technically defeated. Terrorism will be with us for a long time, because it has become big business in Nigeria, its beneficiaries are living large, trading with people’s lives, der papa”.
