Our performance at the June 16th local government council election will go a long way to determine what the 2019 general election will be. We are not leaving any stone unturned.
“Despite the fact that we are a newly registered political party, we shall prove that we are on ground. Majority of our members are core politicians who know the terrain. We shall take the big parties by surprise.
The party boss revealed that about five aspirants have indicated interest to contest the chairmanship ticket in the party, assuring that the party will give all aspirants the opportunity and equal stake during the party’s primary election.
“We are doing this not to make mistake in selecting a credible candidate. We want the party members to choose who they want to represent them. This will bring commitment among members’’, he said.
He hinted that all the ward chairmen in the local governments were communicating with him, stating the party hopes to fill the councillorship an seats in the 20 wards in Port Harcourt city local government area.
It would be recalled that APDA was among the three political parties that were registered in June last year.
