Monarch Urges Youth To Shun Crime, Violence

pecially the youths have been urged to  turn a new leaf  by living a crime  and violence-  free life.
The Head Chief, Owhu Community,  Elikpkwo -Odu  Eze Owhonda Mgbakiri,  Eze Owhu (iv),  made the appeal last  weekend shortly after his installation at Rukpokwu  in Obio/Akpor Local  Government Area.
He said the best way to live was to abstain  from crime  and violence as it never paid any one well.
Mgbakiri pointed  out that his main target as a Head Chief, was to  ensure a peaceful  reign where all will sleep with both eyes closed.
According to him, such should be the highest investment of any ruler as to achieve  the needful for their people.
He attributed his general acceptance  by his people to his peaceful disposition and generousity.
The ex-NIPOST Staff, also recalled that his selection was as a result  of replacement  after the  demise of the last occupant of the stool.
According to  him, there was no litigation in the court, concerning the chieftaincy  title or his person.
On how to rule his  people,  he said that he would  totally  depend on God on how best to operate  as a ruler over his people.
Earlier in his address,  the chairman,  Rumuchewodara Kpalukwu Owhu Mgbakiri family, Mr Lambert Mgibakiri (JP), had said that the event  had opened  a new page in  the history  of the people.
Meanwhile, they have lauded  Nye Nwe Eli Rukpokwu, HRH (Eze) Collins Ogwu III and others for his  support  during the occasion.
