Wike Reinstates Gokana, Ogu/Bolo Chairmen …Dissolves Chieftaincy Panel
The Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike has re-instated the caretaker Committee Chairmen of Gokana and Ogu-Bolo Local Government Areas.
A statement by the Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu indicated that the governor directed the re-instated caretaker chairmen to resume at their duty posts.
Meanwhile, the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike has dissolved the Panel of Inquiry on the Review and Classification of Rivers Chieftaincy Stools with immediate effect.
A statement by the Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu directed the panel to hand over all documents in its possession to the office of the Secretary to State Government.
