Police Nab Car Snatchers In Enugu

The Police Command in Enugu State says it has arrested notorious car snatchers on Nsukka Road near Enugu.
A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr Ebere Amaraizu in Enugu last Thursday, said the suspects were arrested through intelligence information gathered by the operatives.
Amaraizu said that through a well-coordinated operation carried out on August 7,  the Udenu Division of the force nabbed the suspects.
He said that the suspects snatched a Lexus Jeep with registration number 954 BH from the owner in Aba, Abia State, and were escaping through  Nsukka axis near Enugu where they were nabbed.
According to him, the suspects are now regretting their actions because, they (suspects) lamented that they never knew that police operatives would nab them since they were almost escaping.
He said that the three suspects were helping the operatives in their investigations and would be formally handed over to the Abia State Command for further investigation.
