Monarch Cautions Youth Against Crime

Youth in Rivers State have been warned against indulging in crime so as to tap from the new vision of the Governor Nyesom Wike-led government.
The Nyenwe-Eli Elimgbu, HRH Eze Maxwell Mekaka-Wobo, who gave the charge while speaking with newsmen in Port Harcourt, last Monday said indulging in crime could prevent someone or group from benefiting from the government.
Mekaka-Wobo pointed out that no government or corporate entity was prepared to transact with criminals, hence, the need to desist forthwith.
The paramount ruler reasoned that since crime had never paid any group or individual well, that it would be unreasonable for anyone to engage in it.
He explained that the best way to benefit from the government was to live a free life devoid of crime.
The paramount ruler expressed regrets that the youths were taking more into crime, thereby, leaving undone the needful.
He appreciated the security policies of Governor Nyesom Wike, and hinted that there was no hiding place for criminals in the state.
Mekaka-Wobo, expressed regrets that crime could still be reported in some quarters despite all the logistics provided by the State Government to prevent crime.
He also appealed to parents/guardians to always monitor the activities of their children/wards in order to enable them give proper account of them.
