Insight Into D’Banj’s King Don Come
D’Banj’s “King Don Come” has a new August release date. About two months ago, D’Banj released a hand written tracklist for his upcoming album, ‘King Don Come,’ his first studio album in eight years.
Along with the release of the album’s lead single, “it is not a lie,” featuring Harry Song and Wande Coal, D’banj announced a July 7 release date for the project and then proceed to go completely mute when that day passed. Since then he had released the album’s second single, “Be with you”, the lyric video for “comment ca va”, (a track that isn’t actually on the album) and a new brand release date, August 25 2017.
He also shared a more comprehensive tracklist that show the artistes that will be featured on the project which includes Gucci Mane, Wande Coal (on another track), Phyno, his little brother, Kayswitch and more.
While the buzz for his fourth studio album has understandably died down, thanks for the unexplained delay, we are still looking forward to witnessing D’Banj’s long awaited come-back. We really hope he doesn’t disappoint again.
