…Ex-CTC Boss Too
As the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held its special Non-Elective National Convention at Abuja last Saturday, a chieftain of the party says members have vowed to work for the dismantling of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the centre and the continuation of the Nyesom Wike administration in Rivers State.
The former Caretaker Committee Chairman of the Port Harcourt City Council, Barrister Clifford Oparaodu, who stated this in an interview in Port Harcourt, said, “party members are 101 per cent ready to vote out APC come 2019”.
He noted that members of the party are fully prepared based on the performance of the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, adding that Nigerians are disappointed with the Buhari administration.
Oparaodu commended Rivers delegates and the former President Goodluck Jonathan who attended the convention, adding that his presence at the convention has lifted the hopes of Nigerians.
He urged Nigerians to be patient and be calm, adding that the PDP is working as family to reunite former members to gather more forces for the future taking over of the leadership in the country.
Oparaodu specifically said the PDP is ready to end the long sufferings of Nigerians by providing good leadership in the country just as we have in Rivers State.
