Road Projects: Monarch Eulogises Wike

The Onye Ishi Agwuru Igbo Kindgom in Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State, King Samuel Ndiwe Amaechi, says the reconstructed major roads in the kingdom would improve  the living conditions of the people in the area.
Amaechi stated this while speaking with journalists after the commissioning ceremony of Chokocho-Umuechem-Ozuzu and Igbo Etche Chokocho/Rumukurushi interchange roads reconstructed by the Governor Nyesom Wike administration and commissioned by the Acting President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, yesterday at Chokocho, Etche LGA.
The traditional ruler described the governor as a man who keeps to his promises, adding that the two major roads reconstructed by the present administration in the state were impassable before now.
According to him, the people of Igbo Kingdom, and indeed, the entire Etche ethnic nationality would continue to be indebted to the Wike’s administration for the remarkable projects he has executed in the area.
He asked that the people of the area should continue to pray for the governor to enable him realise what God has for him in future.
“Today is unique in the life of the Igbo Kingdom, and indeed, the entire Etche ethnic nationality for what the governor has done and for the acting president to come and commission the road in the kingdom.
“Wike came, promised to rehabilitate these roads, and today, we are living witnesses to the testimony. He is ‘talk and do governor’, ‘Mr Project’; thank you for keeping to your promises to the people. We will continue to pray for you at all times,” he stated.
