Group Seeks Wechie’s Arrest Over Allegations Against Wike
President General of Grassroots Development Initiative (GDI), Bright Amaewhule, has called for the arrest of the leader of Integrity Group, Livingstone. Wechie over his allegations against Governor Nyesom Wike.
Wechie alleged that Wike used his group to make false allegations against former Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi. .Reacting to the allegations, Amaewhule said Wechie must be arrested and committed to prison for giving false information to both the court and the National Assembly.
He accused Wechie of being used by the opposition in the state to destabilise the Wike’s administration, assuring that the government will not be distracted by the allegations.
He urged Wechie to prove his allegations that Wike forged documents to indict Amaechi and urged the public to discountenance the allegations.
