CP Assures Improved Security In Rivers Judiciary
The Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Mr Zaki Mohammed Ahmed, has promised to ensure improved security in the state judiciary as well as to promote the safety of Judges and Magistrates in the state.
Mr Zaki gave this assurance when he led other management of the state police command team to pay a courtesy visit on the state chief judge, at the weekend.
The state commissioner of police said, the aim of the visit was to get acquainted with the problems of the judiciary especially in the area of security as well as on how to synergise with the judges in the state as regards protection.
He assured the judges that henceforth the challenges of insecurity would be a thing of the past and added that the security of judges and magistrates would not be compromised.
He urged them to call him whenever they were having security challenges and assured that all the promises made by him during the meeting would be given adequate attention.
The CP described the meeting as fruitful and assured that he would do his best to fulfill them.
