According to him, Rivers is number one in the sport and no doubt that the Junior team will excel at the competition and pledged to do their best when the championship gets underway.
“We are number one in the country when it comes to cycling and I am optimistic that they would keep the status in Kwara”, Coach Aggo said.
However, he said that the body currently has ten U-17 Cyclists on ground, five males and five females.
“We already have five males and female cyclists and their names have been sent to the Ministry of Sports”, he stated.
Meanwhile only four atheletes are chosen to represent the state in Kwara, saying that two males and female cyclists are expected to participate at the championship.
Aggo also said that the athletes train every Saturdays and Sundays, since school is still in session and most of the athletes are students.
