Nigerian artistes produce the best music in Africa and gaining more recognition in the international music market as foreigners appreciate the sounds which emanate from our shores. These are some of the Naija best who have been rewarded with international awards.
1. D’ Banj: He is one of the most successful artistes to break into international limelight . He has to his credit, BET Awards, 2011, MTV, MTV Europe – World Music Awards and much more.
2. Tuface: Tuface Idibia, is one of the most decorated and successful Afro Pop artiste in Africa. He received one MTV Europe Music Award Four Channel O’music Video Awards and one BET Award for his musical works, four MTV Africa Music Awards, one MOBO Award  one KORA Award and numerous additional nominations.
3. Wizkid: Wizkid, is indeed a starboy as he is a recipient of many awards namely BET Award, 2012, MOBO Award, two Channel O’music Video Awards, two Ghana Music Awards, a Future Award and more recently, the  Billboard Awards.
4. Ice Prince: The trendy chocolate city rapper, made history as the first single recipient of Best International Act in Africa and Best Hiphop Artiste of the year honour at BET Awards in 2013. He also won the Channel O’music Video Awards.
5. Davido: The American born Nigerian recording artiste has received several awards. He is the  the recipient of a BET Award in 2014, a KORA Award, a Channel O’ music Video Award and a Ghana Music Award.
6. P Square:- the sensational duo are recipients of MTV Europe Music Awards, Channel O’music Video Awards and KORA  Awards.
7. Yemi Alade: She was once nominated for BET Awards, won two awards at the MTV African Music Awards in 2015 and 2016.
8. Falz: Nigerian rapper, Falz was announced as the winner of the 2016 Bet Awards, Viewers Choice Award in the best new international Act category.
9. Tiwa Savage: Tiwa Savage, who, is one of the most successful indigenous female artistes in Nigeria is a recipient of one MTV Africa Music Award and Channel O music Video Award.
10. Tekno: The singer, song writer, producer, performer and  dancer is a recipient of MTV Africa Music Awards 2016.
11. Flavour: Flavour, popularly known across Africa is a recipient of international awards like the MTV Africa Music Awards, 2014 and the Channel O’ music Video Awards.
12. Banky W: Nigeria’s RnB star, Banky W, was given an international award for his outstanding achievements by the president of the Boorough of Brooklyn, John Lennon Song Writing Award, 2016 and urban independent music.
