VON Panel: Yemi Alade Replaces 2 Face
Popular Nigerian songs star, Yemi Aladi has been confirmed as the newest star to join and occupy the famous red chair as a coach on season two of voice of Nigeria. She joins the trio of Timi Dakolo, paforanking and Waje. She replaces another Nigerian music star, Innocent Idibia popularly known as Tubaba who leaves the show to pursue other commitments.
The celebrities who reprise their roles as coaches who critique contestants performances and guild their teams of selected artistes through the reminder of the season also compete to ensure that their act wins the competition.
Speaking on Yemi Alade’s addition to the panel, the director, M-Net West Africa, Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu, said “Yemi Alade is one of Nigeria’s biggest musical exploits with incredible appeal across the continent and other international markets. Not only is she an amazing vocalist, Yemi Alade is also recognized for her energetic and entertaining performances on stage. We are thrilled to have her join the voice and we cannot wait for the contestants and our viewers to experience her on the show”.
