The South African Football Association (SAFA) believes that new Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter has all the information he needs to prepare for Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
The two teams will lock horns in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in the Nigerian city of Uyo on the 10th of June 2017.
The English tactician, who was reinstated earlier this month has revealed his squad for the Group E match. Seychelles and Libya are also part of the group.
SAFA technical director Neil Tovey stated that the current SuperSport United coach has everything he needs to prepare for the Super Eagles.
“It is a huge game and that’s why Stuart Baxter’s got all the notes, all the tapes of our opposition,” Tovey told the media.
“He hasn’t started it now but he has all the information at his disposal about the players that were selected over the last games.
“Nigeria away from home could be a totally different team to the likes of Seychelles because of the strength of the opposition,” said tovey.
