Humility and service with the fear of God must be observed as essential ingredients in the lives of those in position of  power.
The International Director of Greater Evangelism World Crusade, Pastor Isaac Valentine Olori said this, yesterday, during the thanksgiving service to mark the Second Anniversary of the administration of the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike amidst the Golden Jubilee of Rivers State, which concluded with the monthly healing service of the Church at its Rukpokwu, World headquarters in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the State.
Calling on Church leaders, civil servants, businessmen and women traditional rulers and others to reckon that the positions they occupy are transient, Olori enjoined them to realise that they are sitting on seats entrusted to them by God.
According to the man of God, positions are given to men by God and according to God’s grace.
“That is why every leader ought to be humble”, he said.
“All those in positions of authority must learn a lesson from the experiences of the ungrateful rich man who did not give credit to God and the arrogant king Nebuchadnezar”, Olori added.
Warming the hearts of those who need healing and encouragement, Olori stated that whatever may be the situation of any person, God was always able to address all their challenges.
He advised the leaders to always trust in God with all their hearts, lean not on their own understanding and acknowledge God in their ways.
