Emeh Lauds Wike For Protecting Rivers Interest
As Rivers State continues to witness progress and development under Governor Nyesom Wike’s administration, a former Commissioner for transport, and Chief of Staff, Chief Glory Emeh, has commended the Governor for his determination in promoting and protecting the interest of Rivers State.
Emeh, who made the commendation recently in Port Harcourt, also praised the present administration for protecting the rights of her citizens and those who live and do business in the state.
The former commissioner said that Wike has within the short but very impressive period of less than two years in office provided solutions to problems of the state within a framework of a more ideological perspective.
According to him, ‘’Wike’s leadership style has provided for conscious and patriotic commitment to harnessing limited resources to accelerate development of the state’’.
He also commended Wike for instilling a new spirit of brotherly love among the various ethnic groups of the state which he said, has promoted fresh commitment to the unity and progress of Rivers people.
Emeh, also lauded the Governor for embracing the decampees from other political parties with open hands and called on Rivers people to join hands with the Governor as the state celebrates the 50th anniversary of her creation, in order to continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy.
