Emeh Hails Wike For Recognising Youth

Former Rivers State Commissioner for Transport, Chief Emeh Glory Emeh, has commended  Governor Nyesom Wike for recognising youths by dedicating a special day to them in the Golden Jubilee celebration.
Speaking with newsmen, last  Friday, on the sidelines of the Rivers Youth Day in the ongoing celebration of the 50th anniversary of the creation of Rivers State, Emeh  recalled the inspiring performances of youths of Rivers State in sports, academics, entertainment and other areas of human endeavour and charged them to be focused in order to remain competitive in the technology-driven global village.
He also commended the  youths for embracing the state government’s amenesty programme and urged them to resist any temptation to be influenced by enemies of the state, adding that, the Governor has demonstrated that he is youth-friendly.
Emeh maintained that, Governor Wike is determined to ensure that his government’s youth empowerment programme is implemented to the letter..
