Don Jazzy, Wizkid, Davido Make Africa’s Top 10 Musicians’ List

Forbes Africa has released its list of Richest African Musicians in 2017.  The list was put together using factors such as endorsements value, popularity, show rates, sales, awards, you tube views, appearances in newspapers, investments, social media presence influence and others. Nigeria dominates the list namely Don Jazzy, Wizkid and Davido.
Akon from Senegal tops the list.  He has over 35 million albums sold worldwide, he also has 45 billboard hot 100 songs under his belt, his net worth is $80 million, while Nigeria’s Don Jazzy is the fourth on the list and first in Nigeria.  Michael Collins Ajereh popularly known as Don Jazzy started playing music  as a child in church before moving to the United Kingdom (UK) to pursue his career.  He is the CEO of Mavin Record Label among other investments.
