2019: RVHA Speaker Assures Wike Of Support
The Lawmaker representing Andoni Constituency and Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly (RVHA), Rt Hon Ikuinyi-Owaji Ibani has assured that Andoni people will support the State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike for a second tenure in office.
Ibani made the promise last Saturday at the reception of the Paramount Ruler of Ngo Community, HRM King Job William Okuruket Nnaloget in Ngo town, the headquarter of Andoni Local Government Area of the state.
The speaker commended Governor Wike for re-awarding Andoni-Opobo Unity road and for actualising the dream of Ngo people by giving them a first class traditional ruler which had eluded them for decades.
He said Wike’s fulfilment of electioneering campaign promises to Andoni people will earn him (Wike) their total endorsement for a second term, if he is contesting.
Our Governor, Mr Project, as you are popularly known all over the world, the people of Andoni are happy for the good work your administration is doing in Rivers State and for the people of Andoni in particular.
“The People of Andoni, in their last gathering, have resolved to maintain the support and the mandate given to you in 2015 till 2023”, Ibani said.
He assured the Governor of the continued support and unalloyed loyalty of Andoni people to his administration, saying that the people have no option than to re-elect him for a Second term, if he wishes.
Ibani also commended the people of Andoni for their unwavering support and belief in the People Democratic Party (PDP) in the state and Governor Wike in particular, assuring them of the administration’s determination to execute more developmental projects in the area.
The speaker advised traditional rulers in Andoni to shun any chieftaincy tussles that would bring calamity to the area.
He said the government of Chief Nyesom Wike is determined to bring development into all the traditional rulers councils across the 23 local government areas of the state, warning that the only thing that can hinder the effort is the failure to embrace peace and unity among themselves.
Ibani urged the new first class traditional ruler, HRH King Nnabiget to remain focused and committed to the discharge of his traditional duties.
