The President, Ugborhen Community, Chief Anthony Amitaye in partnership with SEPLAT Petroleum Development Company Limited, has flagged off another round of empowerment programme in Ugborhen District of Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.

The trainees who were trained on various skills smiled home with N100,000 each to serve as initial capital to acquire shops for the businesses they were trained.
Speaking at the event, Amitaye advised the youths to make good use of the Starter packs to enable them grow their businesses and become financially independent.
He warned the recipients against selling their packs as that would mean trading off their destinies and defeating the noble objective of the empowerment initiative.
Amitaye reminded the youths that with the humble assistance given to them, they could grow their businesses and sustain their families, adding that if they trade off their Starter Packs or waste the opportunity, they may fall back to where they started.
Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mr. Sunday Agbamu expressed their gratitude to the community leadership and SEPLAT, saying they have made the recipients employers of labour instead of unemployed youths with no skill.
Agbamu assured the company and the community leadership that they would make the best use of the opportunity given to them and urged them to extend such to others.
