CDC Raises Alarm Over Threat To Peace

The Woji Community in Obio/Akpor local government area has urged for the intervention of the security  agencies on the chieftaincy crisis rocking the community.
Secretary, Community Development Committee (CDC), Surveyor Emmanuel Ichechukwu Ogbonda, who said this in an interview with newsmen in the area said that the activities of some persons in the community who are busy crowning themselves Ezes may lead to breach of peace in Woji.
Surveyor Ogbonda said that the Rivers State Government and the security agencies must call these people to order with a view to avoiding the breakdown of law and order in the community.
The CDC chairman said that as far as the community was concerned, Eze Clinton Ogbonda was the only crowned Eze Oha Evo of Evo land, stressing that his installation was in accordance with the customs and traditions of the people.
According to him, Eze Clinton Ogbonda succeeded the late Eze Frank. Else he used the occasint to call for the recognition of Eze Clinton Ogbonda by the Rivers State government.
