Rivers United’s Bolaji Sakin, has declared that there is room for improvement, despite a strong start to their Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) campaign.
The Pride of Rivers sits second in the NPFL table after four matches, winning two and playing two draws so far.
Sakin thinks that the Port Harcourt side can take heart from a decent start to the season, while remaining focused on making further stride.
“We’ve got a lot of momentum after the first four games of the season, playing draws at Akwa United and FC Ifeanyi Ubah has given us a great lift”, Sakin said.
“But we know that it’s going to be difficult in our next few games, so we’ll have to keep focused and hopefully we can keep putting in performances like that.
“There’s always room for improvement and I’m sure we’ll work on that. But we’ve got to be very pleased with the four results.
“We’ll continue to keep working and keep building by working hard on the training ground.
There’s a good aura here”.
