Efobi urged wealthy individuals in the country to emulate Ezeemo’s rural developmental ideology as a way of partnering with the government in job creations with the aim of bridging the gap of unemployment in the country.
Bishop Ephraim Ikeakor of Amichi Diocese said that Ezeemo had contributed a lot in development of Umuchu community through the establishment of his numerous economic projects.
Ikeakor said that Ezeemo’s rural development ideology was worthy of emulation because it had created jobs for people of the area, reduced poverty and the rate of rural-urban migration.
He said that Ezeemo had used his wealth to change the face of the community through projects he created, which had given jobs to many youths in the area thereby reducing youth restiveness in the area.
Bishop Emeritus of Awka Diocese and Dean Anglican Communion, Maxwell Anikwenwa, said that the call to Think Home was apt as recession had shown that wealthy people need not leave development of the human and community to government alone.
He called on other wealthy people in the country to think home, develop home and put smiles on faces of teaming unemployed youth rusting in rural areas.
Anikwenwa said that Ezeemo had demonstrated that rural areas could be as vibrant as the urban cities if wealthy individuals join hands with the governments in putting up projects that would create jobs for the people.
