As the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) works towards the December 10, 2016 legislative rerun elections in Rivers State, a member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Blessing Charles Nsiegbe, has urged the people of Port Harcourt Federal Constituency 2 to vote the Peoples Democratic Party and return all the candidates of her party.

Hon Nsiegbe commended the way they voted for her during the March 19 election, during which she reclaimed her mandate annulled last December.

She hinted that her return to the lower chamber was a blessing to the people of Port Harcourt and Rivers State, explaining that the present administration in the state led by Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike needs people that would help him continue the development strides he had started in the state.

The lawmaker commended the people of Rumuwoji Abali Rebisi in the Port Harcourt Local Government Area and members of her constituency in ensuring that her   election was not upturned, explaining that she is working with the executive in the state to bring more development to the people at all levels.

Hon. Nsiegbe reminded the people that the ongoing development in the state was because of the support they gave to her and others that won during last elections, stating that the Governor of Rivers State, Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike would do more if he has the right people at the Senate who will work with him for the development of the state.

The lawmaker commended the people for their continued support for the PDP, adding that it was obvious that Rivers State cannot be traded off for any reasons. She insisted that the state belongs to PDP and all the remaining seats should be for the party to further enhance development.
