FAAN Boss Hails Airport Fire Officers

The Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Engineer Saleh Dunoma, has commended the president and executive Members of the Airport Fire and Multipurpose society for a job well done, as well as ensuring that the welfare of its members is well taken care of.

Dunoma, who made the commendation while commissioning the new warehouse complex at the headquarters secretariat of the Airport Fire and Multipurpose Society at FAAN quarters in Lagos, said the complex would serve as multi-purpose cooperative ware-house.

He said that the construction of the building was beneficial to the organisation, as it will address the welfare of the workforce with facilities such as Gym and Aerobic dance hall for physical fitness, a big warehouse for all types of electronics for staff purchase and a supermarket designed to serve their needs at competitive prices.

Highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of household items to some persons who won raffle draws.

Five persons were presented with DSTV decoder and dish by the FAAN Managing Director, after wining the raffle draw at the event.

The ceremony was well attended by other sister agencies in the aviation industry, including the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), the Nigerian Airspace Mangement Agency (NAMA), the Federal Airports Authority (FAAN) Corporative, the Ministry of Agriculture and well wishes.

Some of the facilities at the Complex like the Gym was made open for a start to other members of staff on a six months subscription.
