Tam-George Blasts Dakuku Over Comment On Wike

The Rivers State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Dr Austin Tam-George, has condemned the failed governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2015 elections, Dr Dakuku Adol Peterside, for making unsubstantiated and irresponsible allegations against the performing Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, and other state leaders in his radio interview last Saturday, in Port Harcourt.

In a swift reaction to what he described as Dakuku’s empty tirade, Tam-George said the insecurity in Rivers State was one of the ugly legacies of the Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi failed eight-year administration, explaining that Wike has taken unprecedented and effective measures in his fight against crime and criminality in the state.

The commissioner noted that security and intelligence reports have revealed that the APC in Rivers State was behind the cells of cultists and criminals still remaining in the state, all in a bid by the party to destabilise the government and the state.

The Rivers State Government’s image maker challenged Dakuku Peterside to own up to the electoral fraud perpetrated by his relative and other APC supporters, now in police custody for electoral crimes.
