Rivers SWAN Mourns Colleague

of Nigeria (SWAN), Rivers State branch has expressed shock over the demise of one of its members, Allanso Jonathan Allanso.
Late Allanso, who hails from Bayelsa State died on Thursday last week after a protracted illness.
SWAN in a statement signed by the State Chairman, Sopriala Bobmanuel prayed God to give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
He described late Allanso as a dutiful member that was dedicated to sports journalism and grassroots sports development. He regretted that he died when the association and indeed grassroots sports needed his contribution more.
The statement further stated that SWAN would liaise with the family and participate fully to accord the departed colleague a befitting burial.
