FAAN Affirms Major Airports’ Business Suitability
The Managing Director of
the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Engr. Saleh Dunoma, has affirmed that the agency has created conducive and attractive business environment in most major airports in Nigeria, such that will attract investors to do business there.
He said that FAAN offers an array of irresistible incentives and that doing business with the agency has become a lot easier.
The FAAN Chief Executive who made this assertion in a statement from the corporate affairs office of the authority and made available to The Tide in Port Harcourt posited that it is now easier to see why several factors work in favour of the agency.
Dunoma said that the planned concession of some of the airports will boost the revenue of the agency, adding that the agency will invest on infrastructure at the airports.
We are investing heavily in the renewal and expansion of infrastructure at the airports, with five international buildings nearing completion at the Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano and Enugu airports.
Our aim is to create capacity and promote excellent investment environment, with tourism growing in direct proportion to the Nigerian economy, international best practice regulatory polices in place and world class service delivery at our airports,” he stated.
The airport authority boss also posited that the agency is poised for a significant growth in passenger traffic and therefore is confident that investors, both local and foreign, would realize prompt and significant returns on their investment.
