Egyptian attacker
Mohamed Salah has continued his impressive form in the Italian Serie A, providing a goal and an assist in Roma’s 4-0 win over Crotone on Wednesday.
The Pharaohs player scored Roma’s second goal of the match, netting in the 37th minute to make it 2-0 after Italian-Egyptian Stephan El Shaarawy had opened the scoring 11 minutes earlier.
Edin Dzeko scored two goals in the second half, with his second in the 57th minute arriving after an assist by Salah.
The emphatic victory sees Roma place third on the Serie A log with 10 points from five matches, just two points adrift of leaders and defending champions Juventus.
Salah has started every Serie A match for Roma thus far this season, racking up 405 playing minutes, three goals and one assist.
The Egyptian’s next chance to impress in Roma colours will be early on Sunday afternoon when they face Torino away from home.
