Researcher Discovers New Date System For Event Planning
A Port Harcourt
based researcher, Chief J. Gibson Oyibo has discovered a new date system called ‘GIBJENO’ date system through arithmetic calculations based on the old date system which he said is a catalyst to enhance the effective use of date and time in events planning and delivery.
The Asari Toru-born social researcher who spoke with The Tide Entertainment recently, noted that the new date system gives the planner the idea for effective calculation of date and the time to plan social events such as weddings, birthdays, burials, holiday, naming ceremonies among others.
The law student of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) Port Harcourt, Rivers State, stated that with the old date system, people take date and time for granted, but with this new system, they will realize that time waits for no one.
He said that the divine inspiration for the new date system came during the answering of questions for Tutor Marked Assignment (TMA). He noted that this positive idea should not only be encouraged, but practiced as efforts are being made to give the new date system national and international recognitions through seminars to enlighten and sensitize the masses on the benefits of the new date system. He appealed for financial support from government and private sectors.
