Osaguona Waits On FIFA
Belgian Club KV Mechelen will
have to wait for FIFA clearance before new signing Ighodaro osaguona could debut for them.
The former Shooting Stars and Enugu Rangers striker has signed a year’s deal with the Belgian club with an option of an additional season.
Osaguona was a target of several other European clubs including Alanyaspor of Turkey before he opted to join Mechelen.
The 25-year-old Osaguona was a massive hit for Raja Casablanca before he cancelled his contract with the Moroccan giants following a series of breaches including outstanding salaries.
FIFA recently ordered Raja to pay the striker’s former club Rangers $150,000 as transfer fee.
