Mrs Ake Urges Peaceful Co-existence

der statesman and politician, Chief Gods power Ake, Mrs Christiana Ake, has enjoined the people of Egi and the entire people of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni (ONELGA) Local Government Area to cultivate the culture of peaceful coexistence to fast-track the development of the area.
Mrs Ake who said this during a condolence visit by members of ONELGA Ward 10 of the All Progressive Congress (APC), said that no development can take place in an atmosphere devoid of peace.
She said that it was the wish of her late husband that the entire Egi nation and the rest of Rivers State should live in peace and commended them for identifying with the family in their moment of grief.
The Chairman of APC Ward 10, Hon. Ikoro Chinwah had earlier described the death of the elder statesman as shocking, stressing that the entire members of the party in the area are shocked by his demise.
Chinwah said that the sad incidence occurred at a time that the deceased contributed immensely to the development of the area and entire Rivers State as well as promote democratic ideals.
He said that the party will continue to sustain the ideals for which the deceased lived and died and urged the bereaved family to take solace in the fact that their father lived a worthy and fulfilled life.
Ikoro also assured of the party’s continued support and prayer for the family.
