According to her, the conference as a National event, brings together lawyers and all other stakeholders in the legal profession and called on the delegates to strive towards the realisation of the theme of the conference:  “Democracy and Economic Development”
She urged them to use the opportunity provided by the conference to address the strategic needs of Nigeria in the social, political and economic realities of the nation and the realization of the vision and mission of the federal and state governments.
Justice Lamikanra opined that there was urgent need to harness comprehensive and systematic actions for the benefit of Nigeria through the attainment of the goals and objectives of the NBA.
