Ebelechukwu, gave the commendation at the annual August meetings of women groups in Aguleri recently.
“It is a thing of joy that you are meeting to discuss how to advance the progress of your church and community.
“It is also heartwarming that similar meetings of women are ongoing in most communities at this time.
“Thankfully, the peace and security achievements made possible by our governor have created the enabling environment that can only bring development to our towns and the whole state,” she said.
She appealed to the women to continue supporting the governor and his team to sustain the achievements made so far in areas of agriculture and infrastructural development.
The wife of the governor pledged to support the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Igboezunu, in Ivite Aguleri, to build a parish house for their priests.
The President of the organisation, Mrs Blessing Udogu, described Gov. Willie Obiano as God-sent to the state.
Udogu said Obiano had provided security in the state which made various ceremonies and meetings possible.
