NWFL Week 14 Game: Robo FC’s Expulsion Stalls Match
The week 14 fixture of the ongoing 2015/2016 Nigeria Women Football league (NWFC) scheduled to hold between Rivers Angels and Robo FC this weekend in Lagos State would no Longer hold.
This is following the expulsion of the team from the League by the NWFC board last week.
Media officer of the Club Jessica Amadi who disclosed this yesterday, in an interview with Tidespsorts in Port Harcourt said that about five teams were expelled from the League.
“Five teams were expelled in our group, due their failure to honour three Consecutive matches of the 2015/2016 NWFC League”, Amadi said.
She explained that this has made the team loss points as it has affected their position on the league table.
However, the team would be visiting Delta Queens next weekend in Asaba for one of the week 15 encounter.
Currently, Sunshine Queens are leading with 10 points as they have 28 Points from 14 matches while the Angels are second on the log with 18 points.
