FAAN Tasks Workers On Physical Fitness
The Managing Director, Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Engineer Saleh Dunoma, has charged workers in the organisation to engage in regular sporting activities in order to remain healthy always.
Dunoma, who made this known to the workers at the FAAN School, Ikeja, in Lagos, during an inter-departmental unity football competition of the organization noted that regular sporting will ensure that workers’ mental and physical alertness remained .
According to him, the event was not only organized as keep fit exercise, but also to unite workers of various departments outside the office environment.
He said that the annual inter-departmental competition will bring out talents in workers of FAAN that will participate at the national level in the near future.
The FAAN boss, who described the event as successful, appealed to other sister agencies to embark on sporting activities aimed at building the physical and mental alertness of their workers adding that it will enable workers overcome some health challenges.
Dunoma announced that other sporting activities will be introduced as soon as the committee set up for this purpose submits its report, and appealed to workers to take advantage of the competition to exercise their bodies.
The competition was kicked off by the FAAN boss alongside other management staff and workers with the directorate of engineering services and that of the Airport Operations taking the opening game.
