The Chairman and Chief
Executive of the African Independent Television, (AIT) and one of the aspirants for the position of the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party,(PDP), Chief Raymond Dokposi, has pleaded with the Rivers State national delegates for the National Convention of the party to give him the opportunity to redirect the affairs of the party.
Dokpesi, who made the plea while addressing delegates and some party faithful in Rivers State, assured that he would turn around the fortunes of the party for the benefit of Rivers State and other South South states if voted for at the National Convention.
The aspirant was accompanied by his chief campaigner, Senator Kassim Oyofo who also appealed to the delegates to vote wisely.
He told them to vote for the future; a future he said rests squarely on the shoulders of Dokpesi. However, The Tide gathered that the Media owner was endorsed by party members.
The PDP Chairman in Rivers State, Felix Obuah while speaking, said the convention has been scheduled for August 17th in Port Harcourt, and that delegates from his state chapter would make it a “block vote”.
