Worried over the hard
ship being faced by the less privileged in the society, the General Oversea of Omega Power Ministries, OPM, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere has again presented a bungalow built by the church to a childless widow, Madam Gladys Nnana.
The beneficiary who hails from Uhudoko community in Ohanku-Ndoki Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia State lost her husband ten years ago and had been squatting in the home of one sympathiser or the other until help came from Apostle Chinyere.
Handing over the keys of the building to Madam Nnana in the presence of the paramount ruler of the community, His Royal Highness, Eze Joshua Dagbor, the General Overseer of OPM noted that what God had used him to do for this people was a scratch on the surface and assured them of God’s abundant blessings.
Apostle Chinyere promised other widows in the area of assisting them in batches to alleviate their suffering occasioned by the deaths of their husbands.
In her speech, Madam Nnana recalled how she met Apostle Chinyere and expressed gratitude to him for providing a personal house for her.
“My husband died ten years ago leaving behind a dilapidated mud house for me as my only inheritance. The building collapsed many years ago and since then I have been squatting in one sympathiser’s house or the other in the village”.
“Life has not only been unbearable but also miserable to me, especially living a life without a child”. One day the Apostle of OPM church who is neither my relation nor was I a member of his ministries met me and had compassion on me and directed one engineer to commence the construction of a building for me.
As you can see today, I am a house owner just like that.
Also speaking, Mr Benjamin Amaechi who represented the head of the beneficiary’s family thanked the General Overseer of OPM for allowing God to use him to turn the sadness and sorrow of a widow to joy.
Other widows in the area who turned out in their numbers to welcome the Apostle Clhinyere and his entourage prayed God to strengthen the General Overseer and members of his church.
