NPFL All-Stars Final Squad For La Liga Friendlies Out,’Morrow
Coach Salisu Yusuf has
said a final 22-man NPFL All-Stars squad for a series of friendlies against La Liga clubs in Spain will be announced on Thursday.
Yusuf has supervised a two-week training camp to select the squad and he said he is monitoring the performances of the players at their various clubs before he names his team.
“A final squad for the matches in Spain will be made on Thursday. I want to monitor what the players are doing at their various clubs before I do my selection,” he said.
The All-Stars are due to resume a closed training camp on August 1 in Abuja preparatory to their departure to Spain.
They will take on Malaga and possibly Athletico Madrid during the invitational tournament.
