Monarch Hails Wike’s Security Initiative …Okays Cultists’ Hideouts Demolition

The paramount ruler
and Onye Isi Agwuru Igbo Kingdom in Etche Local Government  Area of Rivers State, His Majesty Eze Samuel Amaechi has described the recent demolition of houses belonging to  notorious cultists and kidnapers in the state by the State Governor, Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike as a committed effort towards advancing the development of the state.
Eze Samuel Amaechi while addressing journalists  in Port Harcourt, at the weekend averred that the stand taken by the state government to demolish those houses at Rumuolumeni and the Eagle Island within the state underscored  the determination by the government to ensure peace in the state.
The paramount ruler also lauded the state government for the donation  of  20 Hilux  Patrol  vehicles to the police command in the state to fight against crime in the state and added that the vehicles would assist the police in their quest to secure the state and prevent crime and other social  vices in the state.
He used the opportunity to call on cultists across the state to embrace the state government offer of amnesty, renounce cultisim and become responsible citizens of the state and added that the state governor’s offer was a genuine effort to make every body feel the New Rivers vision of the present administration in the state.
Eze Amaechi expressed satisfaction with the various policies of the state government aimed at transforming the life of the people in the state.
He also used the opportunity to call on the people of the state to continue to support government’s efforts in ensuring peace in the state that will promote development adding that no meaningful  development could be achieved in an atmosphere of rancour and acrimony.
The monarch assured the state government of his support in his quest to fight insecurity in the state, even as he assured him of the support of his people at all times.
