munication Technology (ICT) tools have been said to be a panacea to most challenging situations across the globe.
The Managing Director, Endykay Nigeria Limited, Engr Kelechi Princewill disclosed this in an interview with newsmen on Wednesday in Port Harcourt.
He said since ICT had come to stay, the best option for the government was to adopt the system in all its transactions.
Princewill an electronic engineer expert, said that ICT could be adopted as an issue of elections during conduct of general election.
According to him, provision of a Circuited Cable Television (CCTV), at all polling units in the country would reduce drastically all challenges associated with electoral malpractice.
He noted that most countries of the world recorded high level of improvement in all their sectors due to the usage of ICT tools.
The electronic engineer stressed that the availability of CCTV and other ICT materials would even turn the nation’s poor economy for the best.
On the financial involvement of the CCTV, he said little fund was required as the outcome would be much greater than the expenditure.
He also called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to ensure that its card reading machines were properly tested before the upcoming re-run election in the state in a bid to have a perfect election devoid of riggings.
He said the use of analogue system in some government establishment was outdated stressing that until such trend is totally changed, the attempt to fight corruption may not  achieve the desired result.
