Hospitals Intervention Scheme: RSG Names 7-Man Body
The Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, has approved the constitution of a seven-man Rivers State Private Hospitals Intervention Scheme Committee.
A statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu, listed the committee members to include Prof Blessing Didia as Chairman; O.J. Danagogo as member; Prof Nwadioto Akani, member; and Dr. Alali Dan-Jumbo, member.
Others are Dr Tombari Gbeneol, secretary; Dr Innocent Mazi, member; and Dr Henry Sota, member.
The statement further stated that Governor Nyesom Wike will inaugurate the committee on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 by 11am at the Government House, Executive Council Chambers, in Port Harcourt.
The statement also indicated that the governor has approved the setting up of the Rivers State Petroleum Task Force.
According to the statement, membership of the taskforce include Mr Kenneth Opusingi, chairman; Ihunwo Obi-Wali, secretary; Mr Sammy Adiele, member; and Chief Obo Obaa, member.
The rest are Mr Magnus Brother, member; Mr Paul Paul, member; Idazhinim Ekware, member; Mr Allwell Worlu, member; as well as Amicy Blessing Nworgu, member.
It noted that the petroleum taskforce will also be inaugurated by the governor on Wednesday, July 27 by 1pm at the Executive Council Chambers of Government House, Port Harcourt.
It, therefore, advised all those concerned to be seated at the Executive Council Chambers, at least, 30 minutes before the commencement of the inauguration ceremonies.
