Rivers CJ Tasks Magistrates On Dedication

Chief Judge, Justice Adama Iyayi-Lamankara, has urged Magistrates in the state judiciary service to be dedicated to duty as a way of reciprocating the state government’s gestures in improving their welfare.
Justice I. Lamankara gave this  charge during the handing over presentation of 57 official cars bought by the  state government for the magistrate in the state at a brief ceremony held in the judiciary complex over the  week end.
The state Chief judge who stated the gesture was the fulfillment of the state governors promised  to  magistrates and added that the governor has justified his administration’s avowed commitment in administration of justice in the state.
She described the occasion as epoch making as it was coming to the judiciary as at time when the economy of the state and the entire  nation were striving  to survive  and added that the judiciary would remain  grateful and committed to the present administration in the state.
“What we are witnessing today is a genuine and resolved commitment by the governor and by example administration of justice in the state,” she  stated.
She used the opportunity to  thank the  governor for the various projects embarked upon and executed in the judiciary with  his one year in office even as she urged the magistrates to be focused in the discharge of their various duties.
