NFF Shops For Eagles Coach Sponsor
Nigeria Football Federation, NFF president Amaju Pinnick has said that they are shopping for a sponsor for the country’s new coach as they do not wish to owe such a coach.
The Nigeria top coaching post has been vacant with Salisu Yusuf in charge of the Eagles on interim capacity.
“We’re looking for a sponsor to ensure we don’t owe the coach and hopefully in the next couple of weeks we will take a decision,” Pinnick disclosed.
NFF announced that former coach Sunday Oliseh’s salaries were borne by a commercial bank, but with the banking industry experiencing difficulties lately, it is left to be seen if a bank will now come up to foot such a bill now.
It has also been reported that an oil company has backed out of taking up the bills of the new Eagles coach.
