Fathers’ Day: Invest In Rivers Dev – Wike

The Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, has called on fathers to consistently invest in the growth of the state for sustainable development to be achieved.
In a goodwill message  to  fathers on the occasion  of  the  2016 Fathers ‘ Day, Wike also urged fathers to serve as positive  role models to youth for a greater future  for the state.
He noted that fathers as positive role models will guide the youth on the path of honesty, positive family values, societal development while they will be encouraged  to  shun crime.
The governor  appealed  to  fathers to work with  the  mothers in the state to build strong families  that will impact  positively on the state.
While wishing  fathers a wonderful Fathers Day celebration, Wike prayed  God  to  always empower them with the capacity to  discharge  their onerous  responsibilities  to their families and the society.
He assured  the  people of the state that his administration  will  continue to execute  projects and programmes that will enhance  the  quality  of  lives of all segments.
